I’m Jesse, a certified AIDA instructor based in Bellingham. My freediving journey started on a sailing trip off Catalina, snorkeling while watching experienced freedivers explore the ocean floor below. Not long after, I took my first Level 1 course in the cenotes of Yucatán, which deepened my connection to the water and the calm that freediving creates.

Since then, freediving has taken me to Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Dominica, the Philippines, Italy, Norway, the Canary Islands, and Vancouver Island.

I’m grateful to call Bellingham home and to share freediving with the community here. My goal is to introduce people to the water in a way that encourages exploration, awareness, and growth
